Bathroom breaks can wait! The commercials are on!

With a big early lead in the game for the Eagles, all eyes were on the commercials last night. The ads were star-studded, went for laughs, and tugged at the heart. Animals once again played a huge role in memorable moments, there will be songs stuck in our heads for the next week, and a few brands made big returns to the Super Bowl spotlight.

Here are our team’s top 10 commercials and what made them work:

Budweiser

It’s a classic! A great story, still has a little humor at the end, everyone loves a baby animal, it creates that sense of nostalgia and is overall a commercial you won’t forget! – Sarah, Account Director

Mountain Dew

This commercial was hilarious, and the brand immediately leaned into the campaign on social media which I always love to see. I won’t ever hear ‘Kiss from a Rose’ the same way again. – Megan, Social Media Lead

Rocket Mortgage

This was the perfect use of a song in a commercial and to have an activation in the stadium during the commercial break that they cut back to was an all-encompassing moment for the brand. It became more than a commercial that gave me goosebumps! – Lindsey, Account Executive

Coors Light

A Case of the Mondays. Something we’re all feeling today after the game! A great play on words, this commercial was relatable and funny. – Theresa, Traffic Manager

Nike

Being a female athlete myself, the commercial was empowering and motivating. It was great to see these women getting their spotlight especially since this is Nike’s first Super Bowl ad in 27 years. It was timely and impactful in a lot of ways. – Kenedie, Social Media Coordinator

Uber Eats

I'm not usually a fan of stacking celebrities for a Super Bowl commercials, but the Uber Eats spot was my favorite this year. Football was invented to make us hungry. Everybody loves Bacon! It had a lot of great references that really gets you thinking! – Tim, VP, Executive Creative Director

Dove

Simple. Impactful. Great song choice. True to the brand. It was a great spot that brought tears to my eyes. – Maria, VP, Client Leadership

Google Pixel / Gemini Live

It definitely pulled at the heartstrings! As a dad of 3 (including 2 daughters), this one hit close to home. It beautifully showcased the challenges and rewards of parenthood and perfectly tied Google Gemini into prepping for a job interview. Well done, Google – who’s cutting onions?! –Jess, Account Director

Lay's

This was an adorable commercial that portrayed genuine sourcing of their potatoes and celebrates the hard work of farming families. Plus, I later found out it was directed by one of my favorites, Taika Waititi! – Laura, Marketing Specialist

Little Caesars

It’s exactly what a super bowl commercial should be! It features a recognizable figure in a highly entertaining way and showcases the product without making it the entire focus – leaving room for comedy. And boy did it make me want some crazy puffs… - Desi, Account Executive
