Celebrating Community Impact: How Local Brands Give Back

A Commitment to Giving Back

At Brandience, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. As a marketing agency, we are proud to work with companies that share our values and are committed to making a positive impact. We want to highlight the incredible charity work done by some of our partners: TriHealth, Skyline Chili, and CABVI.

TriHealth: A Commitment to Health and Compassion

TriHealth is more than a health care provider; it’s a community pillar. Their spirit of giving shines through various initiatives, supported by dedicated volunteers and generous donations.

Foundations’ Impact: TriHealth’s foundations, including the Bethesda Foundation, Good Samaritan Foundation and McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital Foundation have funded medical research, hospice, cardiac and cancer initiatives, women’s services and medical and nursing education. Their work continues to enhance care and support the community.

Good Sam Gala: One of TriHealth’s foundations – the Good Samaritan Foundation- hosts an annual event that raises money to support life-saving initiatives at Good Samaritan Hospital. More specifically, over the past 39 years, they’ve raised $10 million dollars to improve the availability and quality of health care for people living in Greater Cincinnati.

Skyline Chili: Serving Up More Than Just Great Food

Skyline Chili is a beloved Cincinnati institution known for its delicious chili, but its commitment to the community is equally impressive. Skyline actively supports local high schools, charity events, and community gatherings.

Community Events: Skyline actively supports local high schools, music venues, and various events like the Crosstown Showdown, Hoxworth Blood Center drives, and the Flying Pig Marathon.

Skyline has also continued to partner with Ted Karras throughout the year through his non-profit The Cincy Hat where 100% of proceeds go directly to support adults with developmental disabilities through the Village of Merici (independent housing, services) and the University of Cincinnati Transition and Access Pathways (TAP) program.

CABVI: Empowering Individuals with Vision Loss

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) is a beacon of hope for individuals with vision loss. CABVI organizes annual events such as Braille Ale, Braille Bourbon, and their most popular event, Dining in the Dark. All of these events are dedicated to bringing awareness to the challenges of vision loss and raising critical funds to help support individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

The newest example of their monumental efforts is their Mobile Vision Resources van! This mobile resource will help CABVI make a greater impact in underserved communities in our area by providing mobile vision screenings, resource guides, agency information, and more at local health fairs, informational events, senior facilities and community recreational facilities.

This five-year project has finally come to life to help empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired by bringing the wonderful resources CABVI offers closer to those who need it. Their dedication to empowering individuals with vision loss is truly inspiring.
